Brno, 2017.Diplomová práce se zabývá všeobecným popisem, historickým vývojem, pravidly, využitím geocachingu v ČR až po geocaching v Africe, konkrétně v Zambii kolem Viktoriiných vodopádů. V teoretické části se nachází komparace geocachingu v Zambii a Zimbabwe. Práce obsahuje i počet cachí v jednotlivých státech Afriky a typologii již existujících cachí na úze-mí Zambie a Zimbabwe kolem Viktoriiných vodopádů, které jsou jedním z nejzajímavějších míst. Dále charakteristika území pro umístění nových cachí. Cílem diplomové práce je navržení nové trasy, která by přilákala více turistů do dané lokality, a to by přispělo k místní ekonomice. Nová trasa je vyznačena na mapě vytvořené v programu ArcGIS. Práce je doplněna o dotazníkové šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjištění zájmu o nové trasy. Získané informace jsou závěrem diskutovány a zhodnoceny.

Brno, 2017.Diploma thesis describes geocaching, historical development, rules, using geocaching in the Czech Republic to geocaching in Africa, especially in Zambia around Victoria falls. In the theoretical part, there is a comparison of geocaching in Zambia and Zimbabwe. This thesis also includes the number of caches in the individual states of Africa and the typology of already existing caches in Zambia and Zimbabwe around Victoria´s waterfall, which are one of the most interesting place. In thesis is characterization of the territory for the placement of the new caches. The aim of this thesis is design new trail that would attract more tourists to this location and they would contribute to the local economy. New trail is design on the map created in program ArcGIS. Thesis is complemented by a questionnaire survey aimed at finding interest of people in a new caches and trails. The information obtained is finally discussed and evaluated.
