Efficiency of the Tea market in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se zabývám vývojem trhu čaje a zkoumám nabídku a poptávku po čaji v České republice. V první části popisuji historii čaje, ve které zemi čaj zanechal své kořeny a jak postupně putoval do celého světa a do České republiky. Zaměřuji se na pěstování čajovníku a poté na zpracování a výrobu jednotlivých druhů čajů. Ve výsledkové části prozkoumávám historii nejznámějších čajových distributorů a snažím se zjistit, jak si vedou na trhu. Zaměřuji se na statistické údaje a informace o spotřebě, jak rostla cena a zda ovlivnila poptávku po čaji. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření se pokouším zjistit chování spotřebitelů v tomto odvětví.

Abstract:

In the thesis deals with the development of the market of tea and examine the supply and demand for tea in the Czech Republic. The first part describes the history of tea, tea country in which he left his roots and how gradually traveled around the world and in the Czech Republic. Focus on tea growing and then processing and manufacturing various kinds of teas. In the final section I examine the history of the most famous tea distributors and trying to figure out how they are doing in the market. I focus on the statistical data and information on consumption to the growing cost and whether it influenced the demand for tea. Using the survey to try to determine the behavior of consumers in this sector.
