Společenstva křísů (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha) na plochách zatravněných regionální druhově bohatou směsí v jihozápadní části CHKO Bílé Karpaty

Species assemblages of leafhoppers and planthoppers (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha) in sites sown with regional species-rich seed mixture in the south-western part of the Bílé Karpaty Protected Landscape Area

Abstract:

Polopřirozené travní porosty jsou důležitou součástí evropské přírody. V důsledku intenzivního zemědělství nebo naopak útlumu obhospodařování se ale staly jedním z nejohroženějších biotopů. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá květnatými loukami na území CHKO Bílé Karpaty, z nichž velká část byla za komunistického režimu v průběhu minulého století v rámci intenzifikace zemědělství také rozorána. V porevoluční době v České republice došlo k útlumu zemědělské výroby a části orné půdy byly znovu zatravněny rozličnými způsoby, od samovolné sukcese až po osévání finančně náročnou regionální směsí trav a bylin. Bílé Karpaty jsou jedinou oblastí, kde byla tato směs použita ve velkém měřítku (přes 500 ha orné půdy), a úspěšnost zatravnění zde byla v minulých letech detailně sledována z botanického hlediska. Cílem této práce bylo i) získat údaje o společenstvech křísů (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha) na plochách nově osetých regionální druhově bohatou směsí v jihozápadní části Bílých Karpat, ii) zhodnotit úspěšnost této metody obnovy lučních porostů z hlediska fytofágního hmyzu na příkladu křísů, jakožto modelové skupiny těsně spjaté s vývojem vegetace a iii) analyzovat faktory prostředí důležité pro utváření společenstev křísů ve studovaných travních porostech. Bylo srovnáváno celkem deset párů ploch, tvořených vždy bývalým polem osetým před 5–12 lety regionální druhově bohatou směsí a k němu nejbližším původním lučním porostem jako referenční plochou. Vzorky byly na každé ploše sbírány metodou standardizovaného smýkání ve třech termínech v pozdním jaře a na začátku a na konci léta roku 2012. Celkem bylo na všech plochách nalezeno 89 druhů křísů. Počet druhů, počet jedinců, ani počet ohrožených druhů křísů se mezi zalučněnými a referenčními plochami statisticky významně nelišil. Společenstva na obou typech ploch měla podobnou strukturu z hlediska ekologických skupin křísů daných např. šířkou potravního spektra, voltinismu či upřednostňovaného biotopu. Z tohoto pohledu lze hodnotit obnovu lokalit úspěšně. Pomocí ordinačních analýz byl však nalezen rozdíl v druhovém složení společenstev křísů mezi zalučněnými a referenčními plochami, který lze vysvětlit především strukturou vegetace (gradienty její pokryvnosti a výšky). Další důležitou vysvětlující proměnnou byla druhová bohatost vegetace zjištěná z fytocenologických snímků poskytnutých Správou CHKO Bílé Karpaty.

Abstract:

Semi-natural grasslands are an important component of European landscape. Due to heavy agriculture, however, they have also become one of the most threatened habitats. This study is located in the Bílé Karpaty Protected Landscape Area (PLA), south-eastern part of the Czech Republic, on meadows, a large part of which was ploughed during the communist regime in the 20th century. The agriculture policy in the Czech Republic has considerably changed after the velvet revolution in 1989, and parts of the former croplands have been restored to grasslands in several ways, from spontaneous succession to sowing of a quite expensive regional species-rich seed mixture. The Bílé Karpaty PLA is the only region in the Czech Republic where this type of seed mixture has been used at a large-scale area (more than 500 ha of the former fields) and where the restored grassland vegetation has been subject to intensive monitoring in recent years, aimed at assessing the success rate of the restoration. The goals of this study were i) to determine the composition of the Auchenorrhyncha communities on the restored grasslands in the Bílé Karpaty, ii) to compare the communities with those on the well-preserved meadows in the surroundings and thus assess the success of the restoration in terms of leafhoppers, and iii) to estimate the influence of various factors on the formation of Auchenorrhyncha communities in grasslands. In total, ten pairs of sites (a former field restored 5–12 years ago and a nearby well-preserved meadow as a reference plot in each pair) were compared. Standardized samples were collected with a sweeping net at each site on three different dates in 2012 (late spring, searly and late summer). In total, 89 species were found in all sites. There was no difference in the number of species, the number of specimens, or the number of threatened species between the restored and the reference sites. The structure of the leafhopper communities was similar, too (in terms of the relative representation of different ecological groups based on the degree of polyphagy/monophagy, voltinism and preferred habitat of individual species), and therefore one can state that from the perspective of leafhoppers the restoration has been successful. There has been a difference in the species composition, however, between the restored and reference sites which could be best explained by the vegetation structure – height and cover, two variables explaining the greatest variability in the species data together with the species richness of the vegetation.
