Historical-psychological-philosophical conception of the historical novel (based on the material of several selected works from Polish and Russian literatures)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá historickým románem z hlediska dějinně psychologicko - filozofické koncepce. V práci se snažíme demonstrovat, jak se tyto koncepce v jednotlivých dílech promítají. Studie také popisuje koncepci v souvislosti s psychologizací postav a způsob jejich ztvárnění. Autor tuto problematiku zkoumá z hlediska specifika, jež umocňuje realistický nádech díla. Pojetí člověka v dějinách a jeho místo v historickém románu je další podstatnou složkou. Nedílnou součástí je také srovnání z aspektu historického z hlediska role člověka v dějinách a percepce čtenáře. Předmětem závěrečné části této diplomové práce je koncepce úlohy člověka v dějinách na pozadí výše zmíněných koncepcí.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the historical novel from the following points of view: historical psychological - philosophical conception. We also try to demonstrate how these conceptions are realised in the particular works. The study also describes the conception in connection with the psychologization of literary characters and their way of rendering. The author examines the issue as a particularity which increases the realistic tinge of the book. The representation of a man in history and his place in historical novel is another relevant concept. An inseparable component of the work is the comparison of historical point of view of the role of a man in history and the reader‘s perception of the analyzed writers. The final part of the work is represented by the comparison of particular writers from the point of view of the position of man in history at the background of the conceptions mentioned above.
