Contextual development of residences in the Theater art

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na Kontextuální vývoj forem rezidencí v divadelním umění, na příkladu Divadla LETÍ, kde zkoumá fungování a organizaci jeho nezávislého divadelního souboru. Závěrečná práce představuje důvody vzniku fenoménu rezidenčních prostor ve vztahu k Evropské unii, která programově podporuje mobilitu umělců po celém světě. V práci se tak dotýkáme rámcového uchopení základních informací o struktuře a podmínkách fungování rezidencí ve světě. V poslední části se zaměřujeme na propojení nashromážděných poznatků z teoretické části s činností známého divadelního souboru Divadla LETÍ. Již od svého vzniku se divadlo orientuje na tvorbu domácích i zahraničních dramatiků. Tento svůj program orientuje poskytováním rezidenčních prostor, které jsou z hlediska bakalářské práce důležitou součástí jejich tvorby.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is focused on Contextual development of residences in the Theater art. This thesis introduces reasons for the formation phenomenon of residencies with a connection to the European Union, which programmatically supports the mobility of artists around the world. In this work we mention basic information about the structure and conditions of residencies. In the last part we connect the information gathered in the theoretical part and we focus on specific connections between organisations in relation to the well-known theatre ensemble Divadlo LETÍ. Since its beginning, Divadlo LETÍ has focused on the output of national and foreign authors. They support this programme by providing residencies for playwrights, who are, from the perspective of this thesis, an important part of their output.
