The Balance Sheets of ECB and Eurosystem, their course and economic relations

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis focuses on detailed review of individual items of the balance sheet of the ECB and the Eurosystem. After review of individual items thesis examines measures that the ECB conducted to mitigate impacts of crisis in the euro area. Thesis also observes changes that have occured in the balance sheet of the ECB and the Eurosystem as a result of these measures and their impact on monetary aggregates of the euro area and amount of money in the euro area.

Abstract:

Predmetom bakalárskej práce je podrobný prieskum jednotlivých položiek bilancie ECB a Eurosystému. Po preskúmaní jednotlivých položiek sa práca venuje opatreniam, ktoré ECB uskutočnila na zmiernenie dopadov krízy v eurozóne. Práca pozoruje aj zmeny, ktoré nastali v bilancii ECB a Eurosystému v dôsledku týchto opatrení a ich vplyv na menové agregáty eurozóny a množstvo peňazí v eurozóne.
