Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce je věnována freskám Vojmíra Vokolka, které byly vytvořeny v letech 1958 – 1983 v devíti kostelích a kaplích v Čechách a na Moravě. Podává výčet umělcových nástěnných realizací, hodnotí jejich současný stav a zařazuje je do širších výtvarných a dobových souvislostí. Zabývá také umělcovou snahou vytvořit nově pojatý sakrální prostor a jeho neobvyklým vztahem k vlastní práci. Charakterizuje …more
Abstract:
This thesis is dedicated to the frescoes by Vojmír Vokolek, painted in 1958 – 1983 in nine churches and chapels in Bohemia and Moravia. It introduces the murals, desciribes them and interprets them. It also deals with the artist’s desire to create a new sacred space and his unusual relation to his own work.
