Design of costing in a service company

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je navrhnout vhodnou kalkulaci pro vybraný podnik a doporučit, které informace by pro její reálné využití při řízení měly být evidovány. Vybraným podnikem je GAIA Connections, s. r. o. zabývající se poskytováním IT služeb stálým zákazníkům. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty dosavadní poznatky manažerského účetnictví o nákladech a kalkulacích včetně specifik v oblasti poskytování služeb. V praktické části je za cíl implementace kalkulace výkonů v podniku identifikováno posouzení ziskovosti zákazníků pro potřeby rozhodování o jejich optimální struktuře. V návaznosti na to je zvolena 1 hodina služby poskytované konkrétnímu zákazníkovi jako nejvhodnější kalkulační jednice. Struktura kalkulovaných nákladů je poté vyjádřena v navrženém retrográdním kalkulačním vzorci variabilních nákladů.

Abstract:

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to design suitable costing for the selected company and recommend which information should be recorded so that it can be used as a real management tool. The selected enterprise is GAIA Connections, s. r. o., which provides IT services to regular customers. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part summarizes the existing knowledge of management accounting about costs and costing, including specifics in the provision of services. In the practical part, the identified goal of the implementation of costing into the company is to make an assessment of customers’ profitability in order to decide their optimal structure. Subsequently, one hour of a service provided to a particular customer is chosen as the most suitable product unit. The structure of assigned costs is depicted in the designed retrograde variable costing formula.
