Biometric systems based on facial recognition
Abstract:
The goal of this thesis was to describe the basic principles of biometrics systems based on facial recognition systems, to summarize existing standards in this area and to test how sensitive the VeriLook program is to 1) aging and to 2) covering parts of the face (e.g. by hair, head covers, glasses or extravagant earrings).
Abstract:
Cieľom práce bolo popísať základné princípy biometrických systémov založených na rozpoznávaní tváre, zhrnúť existujúce štandardy v tejto oblasti a otestovať, ako je program VeriLook citlivý na 1) starnutie a na 2) zakrývanie častí tváre (napr. vlasmi, pokrývkami hlavy, okuliarmi či extravagantnými náušnicami).
