Determinants of GDP and its Structure Analysis in Specific Countries

Abstract:

Diplomová práce «Analýza faktorů determinujících vývoj HDP a jeho struktury ve vybraných zemích» se zabývá analýzou hrubého domácího produktu České republiky a republiky Kazachstán a hlavně faktorů, které ovlivňují a tvoří hodnotu HDP. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny vedle informace o hrubém domácím produktu zásadní zvolené makroekonomické faktory, které ve větší míře mají vliv na vývoj HDP – nezaměstnanost, inflace, monetární politika a postavení zemědělství. Každý faktor je stručně popsán a okomentován z pohledu jeho vlivu na vývoj HDP. V analytické části diplomové práce je provedena analýza a srovnání zmíněných faktorů. Pro lepší představu ekonomické vyspělosti v České republice a Kazachstánu na začátku analýzy také je proveden stručný popis a porovnání vývoje celkového HDP. Za časový horizont zkoumání stanovuji období posledních 10 let a to od roku 2004 až 2014. Práce je zakončena zhodnocením výsledků zkoumaných ukazatelů a formulací závěrů.

Abstract:

My diploma thesis called «Analysis of factors determining the development of GDP and its structure in selected countries» addresses the gross domestic product of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, especially the factors which affect GDP and form its value. The theoretical part contains not only basic information about the concept of gross domestic product, but also chosen fundamental macroeconomic factors which increasingly influence the GDP development - namely unemployment, inflation, monetary policy and the status of agriculture. Each factor is briefly described and assessed in terms of its impact on the GDP development. The analytical part of thesis deals with the analysis and comparison of these factors. In order to provide a better image of economic advancement in the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan, a brief description and comparison of the global GDP development is added at the beginning of the analysis. The time horizon has been determined as the period of last 10 years, i.e. from 2004 to 2014. Eventually, the thesis evaluates the results of examined indicators and defines the conclusions.
