Awareness of women with breast cancer carcinogens of the side effects of radiotherapy

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se zabývám informovaností žen o nežádoucích účincích radioterapie. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a výzkumnou. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií prsu, druhy karcinomů prsu, možnostmi léčby karcinomu prsu, nežádoucími účinky radioterapie a mamografickým screeningem. Ve výzkumné části pomocí dotazníkového šetření byla zkoumána úroveň informovanosti žen s karcinomem prsu a míru jejich spokojenosti s informacemi, které obdržely. Po vyhodnocení průzkumu se ukázalo, že respondentky ve věkové kategorii stáří jsou více informovány než respondentky ve věkové kategorii dospělost. Většina respondentek je spokojena s kvalitou a množstvím informací, které dostaly.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis focuses on women's awareness of undesirable effects of radiotherapy. It consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is concerned with breast anatomy, types of breast carcinoma, undesirable effects of radiotherapy and mammogram screening. The empirical part investigates through a survey the level of awareness of women with breast carcinoma and extent of satisfaction with information with which women were provided. The research showed that the respondents in age category (60 years and older) are more informed than the respondents in age category (19-59 years). Most of the respondents are satisfied with quality and the amount of information they received.
