Abstract:

Úvod: Na africký kontinent jezdí stále více občanů ČR. Jde o zemi nádhernou ale i nebezpečnou. V mé práci se budu zabývat nebezpečími, které způsobují zdravotní potíže cestovatelům. Jsou to především rozdílné klimatické, geografické a sociální podmínky, které určují stupeň (tíži) zdravotního rizika. V neposlední řadě je to i charakter a způsob cestování. V kompetenci pracovníků ochrany veřejného zdraví je provádět edukaci cestovatelů o zdravotních rizicích v epidemiologicky závažných zemích. Z těchto důvodů jsem si vybrala toto téma práce. Cíl: Vytvoření prezentace problematiky zdravotních rizik v Africe a jejich souvislost s geografií, klimatem a životní úrovní jednotlivých zemí, která bude sloužit jako edukační materiál pro studenty i cestovatele. Metodika: Nastudovala jsem si základní informace o geografii, klimatologii, sociální situaci afrických států a o tropických nemocech. Nastudované informace jsem přehledně shrnula do kapitol. Součástí kapitol jsou zdravotní rizika související s geografií, klimatem a sociální situací afrických států. V závěru práce je popsán proces snižování zdravotních rizik při cestách do různých zemí Afriky a proces péče o pracující, kteří vyjíždějí do Afriky. Výsledek: Výsledkem je ucelený souhrn základních informací, které potřebuje cestovatel pro snížení zdravotního rizika do afrických států. Závěr: Zdravotní rizika, která v Africe hrozí, se sníží informovaností o těchto rizicích. Znalosti o tíži zdravotního rizika s klimatem, geografií a vyspělostí státu, by měli znát všichni, kteří na tento kontinent plánují ať krátkodobou nebo dlouhodobou cestu.

Abstract:

Introduction: On the african continent goes more and more citizens of the Czech Republic. It is a beautiful country but also dangerous. In my work, I will discuss the hazards that cause health problems travellers. They are mainly different climatic, geographical and social conditions that determine the level (severity of) health risks. Last but not least, it is the nature and method of travel. The competence of the staff of public health education to perform travellers about health risks in the countries of epidemiological importance. For these reasons I chose this theme work. Objective: Create a presentation of issues of health hazards in Africa and their connection with geography, climate and level of life in individual lands, which will serve as a educational material for students and travellers. Methodology: I studied basic information about the geography, climatology, the social situation of african states and tropical diseases. Staging information was neatly summed up into chapters. Health hazards, related with geography climatology, social situation of African states, are part of the chapters. In the end of my work is described a process of decreasing health hazards during the journeys to the various states of Africa and a process of care about workers who are travelling to Africa. Result: The result is a complete summary of the basic information that travellers need to reduce the health risks to african countries. Conclusion: Threaten health hazards in Africa will reduce by the awareness about these risks. Knowledge about health hazard with the climate, geography and developed of state, should know everyone who are planning a shorter or longer journey to this continent.
