Methodology of teaching skiing for children

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na výuku lyžování předškolních dětí. První kapitola patří historii lyžování od vzniku prvních lyží do počátků lyžování v Čechách. Další kapitoly teoretické části jsou věnovány nejen didaktickým stylům, používaným při výuce, popisu vývoje dítěte ve věku od 3 do 6 let, ale i charakteristice dětského lyžařského vybavení a zásadám výuky lyžování dětí. Praktická část je popis video příručky pro učitele, nebo rodiče, kteří se rozhodnou seznámit dítě předškolního věku s lyžováním. V příručce je zaznamenán postup prvních pohybů na lyžích, nácvik jízdy v pluhu a nácviky jízdy na hranách. Nalezneme v ní metodický popis pohybových cvičení, návrh na představení cviku dětem, cíle pohybového úkolu a hlavní chyby, které by se během výcviku mohly objevit.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the teaching of skiing of pre-school children. First chapter includes the history of skiing since the appearance of the first skis until the very beginning of skiing in Bohemia. The following chapters of the theoretical part are devoted not only to the educational styles used for teaching, description of the development of a child in the age of 3 to 6, but also to the characteristics of the children's ski equipment and the principles of children's ski education. The practical part is a decsription of a video guide for those teachers or parents, who decide to teach a pre-school child to ski. The guide describes the first steps for skiing, practice of snow plowing and skiing on the edges. We will find here a methodical description of the exercises, a suggestion for introducing the exercises to the children, the goals of the movement tasks, and the main mistakes that might occur during the training.
