The role of the classroom teacher in the process of developing a positive classroom climate.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou klimatu ve třídách prvního stupně základních škol a rolí třídního učitele při formování pozitivního prostředí ve třídě. Cílem výzkumu je posoudit význam role učitele při vytváření pozitivního klimatu ve třídách a zjistit, jaké postupy pro vytvoření příznivého prostředí, které podporuje optimální vzdělávací proces a rozvoj žáků, pedagogové využívají. Teoretická část práce obsahuje základní faktory ovlivňující klima ve třídě, definice klíčových pojmů, především se ovšem zaměřuje na aktéry tohoto procesu, tedy učitele, žáky a jejich vzájemné vztahy. V praktické části této práce jsou uvedeny výsledky výzkumu provedeného prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření ve čtvrtých a pátých třídách vybraných základních škol. Výzkumný vzorek respondentů tvoří jak učitelé zmíněných tříd, tak i žáci a výsledky výzkumu jsou přehledně uvedeny v tabulkách a grafech.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the analysis of the climate in primary school classrooms and the role of the class teacher in forming a positive classroom environment. The aim of the research was to assess the importance of the teacher's role in creating a positive classroom climate and to determine what practices they use to create a positive environment that promotes optimal learning and student development. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the basic factors influencing classroom climate, definitions of key terms and, above all, focuses on the actors in this process, i.e. teachers, pupils and their relationships. The practical part of this thesis presents the results of research conducted through a questionnaire survey in fourth and fifth grades of selected primary schools. The respondents were both teachers of the mentioned classes and pupils and the results of the research are clearly presented in tables and graphs.
