The frequency of fluorescence images associated with positive antinuclear antibodies

Abstract:

Autoimunitní choroby jsou onemocnění způsobené poruchou regulace imunitního systému, mohou postihnout kterýkoliv orgán nebo orgánový systém. Poškození vlastních buněk probíhá pomocí T-lymfocytů, makrofágů nebo právě tvorbou autoprotilátek. Právě vyšetření antinukleárních protilátek, autoprotilátek proti jaderným komponentám buňky, je jedním z významných parametrů pro stanovení diagnózy těchto onemocnění. Vyšetření antinukleárních protilátek se provádí metodou nepřímé imunofluorescence, jako doplňkové metody mohou být použity například ELISA a Western blot. Práce obsahuje základní teorii k problematice autoimunity, autoimunitních onemocnění a jejich laboratorní diagnostiky. Praktická část pak obsahuje popis vlastního provedení metody nepřímé imunofluorescence s konečnými statisticky zpracovanými výsledky. Cílem práce bylo zjistit četnost jednotlivých typů fluorescencí, asociovaných s pozitivitou antinukleárních protilátek.

Abstract:

Autoimmune diseases are diseases caused by dysregulation of the immune system, may affect any organ or organ systems. Damage of own cells is performed by T-lymphocytes, macrophages, or just the production of autoantibodies. That examination antinuclear antibodies, autoantibodies against nuclear components of cells, is one of the important parameters for diagnosis of these diseases. Examination of antinuclear antibodies is performed by indirect immunofluorescence as supplementary methods may be used such as ELISA and Western blot. Work includes basic theory to the problems of autoimmunity, autoimmune diseases and laboratory diagnosis. The practical part includes a description of the performance of the method of indirect immunofluorescence statistically processed with final results. The aim of the study was to determine the frequency of various types of fluorescence associated with positive antinuclear antibodies.
