Constructive Thinking in Tertiary Education

Abstract:

Cílem naší práce bylo zjistit z výzkumu úroveň konstruktivního myšlení u studentů vysokých škol. Jelikož studenti univerzit spadají do období mladé dospělosti, proto v první části teoretického úseku přibližujeme charakteristiku tohoto období a věkové rozmezí, s kterým budeme nadále v práci pracovat, protože také existuje nespočet definic a věkových mezníků, které určují tuto vývojovou fázi. Aby byla spojitost s konstruktivismem co nejpřesnější, věnujeme se i osobním aspektům, které ovlivňují myšlení a charakter mladého dospělého. Významně se podílejí na vývoji samozřejmě i kognitivní změny, které jsme popsali v další kapitole části mladé dospělosti. V návaznosti s praktickou částí, jsme nemohli opomenout ani sociální vývoj ve vzdělání u dospělých lidí. Celá práce je úzce spjata i se studiem na vysoké škole, a tak je další kapitola o terciárním vzdělání a metodách, které jsou využívané při výuce na univerzitě. Značný dopad na konstruktivismus každého studenta samozřejmě může mít i momentální stav, kdy se této problematice věnujeme v kapitole aktuálního stavu českého vysokoškolského studia. Třetí část teoretického pojetí je věnována konstruktivismu, kde je popsaná jak konstrukce poznání, tak konstruktivismus ve vzdělání. V praktické části je zpracovaný kvantitativní výzkum formou testování, které probíhalo u studentů různých univerzit a je zde popsána analýza výsledků výzkumu.

Abstract:

The aim was research to the level of constructive thinking among university students. We include students in the period of young adulthood, because in the first part of the theoretical section approaches characteristic of this period and the age range with which we will continue to work , because there are also countless definitions and age milestones that determine the developmental phase. Constructivism as accurate as possible, deal with and personal aspects that affect thinking and character of a young adult. Significantly involved in the development and course of cognitive changes that we have described in the next chapter of young adulthood. In connection with the practical elements, we can not neglect the social development of education in adult humans . All work is closely associated with the study of high school, and so is the next chapter of tertiary education and the methods that are used in teaching at the university. Significant impact on the constructivism of each student, of course, can cause momentary state when dealing with this issue in a section of the current state of Czech terciary education. The third part is devoted to the theoretical concept of constructivism, which is described as the construction of knowledge and constructivism in education. In the practical part of the processing of quantitative research in the form of testing that took place among students of different universities and is described analysis of research results.
