Accounts Payable Analysis in a Chosen Company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku řízení pohledávek ve vybrané společnosti. Cílem práce je analyzovat a zhodnotit stávající situaci týkající se pohledávek ve společnosti a navrhnout doporučení pro zlepšení současného stavu. V první části byly pohledávky charakterizovány na základě odborné literatury. V druhé části byla provedena analýza pohledávek v konkrétní společnosti. Pozornost byla věnována zejména pohledávkám z obchodních vztahů. Na základě analýzy byla doporučena opatření ke snížení objemu pohledávek po splatnosti.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on problematics of credit management in a specific company. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and describe current situation of accounts receivable in the company and to suggest recommendations for improving the current state. In the first part, accounts receivable were characterized on the basis of professional literature. In the second part was performed the analysis of accounts receivable in a chosen company. Particular attention was paid to trade receivables. Based on the analysis, there were recommended procedures how to decrease the volume of overdue accounts receivable.
