Simulation of the production processes in selected company

Abstract:

Cílem práce je sestavit simulační model velkovýroby ve vybrané společnosti, která se zabývá výrobou produktů z vlnité lepenky. Po teoretickém úvodu, který je zaměřen na teorii výroby, principy štíhlé výroby, výrobu vlnité lepenky a modely hromadné obsluhy, je představena firma. Dále je provedena analýza velkovýroby. Na základě této analýzy je vytvořen simulační model v programu Plant Simulation. Pomocí simulace byly zjištěny hlavní výrobní toky a nalezena úzká místa. Vytvořený model lze pomocí experimentů upravovat a tím simulovat různé scénáře, díky kterým lze vyhodnotit dopady změn a navrhnout tak efektivní řešení. Bylo provedeno 5 hlavních experimentů. Jsou shrnuta jednotlivá řešení včetně dopadů na chod výroby a odhad nákladů implementace.

Abstract:

The goal of the thesis is the creation of a large-lot production simulation. The company produces products made of the corrugated cardboard. After theoretical research, which is focused on production processes, LEAN production, corrugated cardboard production and mass service models is introduced the company. Analysis is performed after the theory. On the ground of the analysis is created a simulation model in Plant Simulation software. By means of the simulation were found the main production flows and bottlenecks. It is possible to adjust the model by means of the experiments and therefore create various scenarios. These scenarios evaluate impacts of the changes and suggest effective solutions. It was carried out 5 experiments. There are concluded every single solution regarding the impacts of the production and estimations of the implementations costs.
