Biofuels first and second generation - risks, production and use

Abstract:

Tato práce je věnována literární rešerši na téma problematiky biopaliv první a druhé generace. Nejprve jsou popsány biopaliva první a druhé generace, z hlediska jejich složení, výroby a rozdílu mezi nimi. Další část práce je zaměřena na výhody a nevýhody použití biopaliv v praxi a jejich dopad na životní prostředí. Další úsek bakalářské práce je věnován legislativě a dostupnosti biopaliv v České republice. V poslední části práce je diskutován potenciál heterogenních katalyzátorů při výrobě biopaliv.

Abstract:

This work is focused on first and second generation of biofuels. At first part, biofuels of first and second generation are described, in terms of their composition, production, and the difference between them. The thesis is focused on the advantages and disadvantages of the use of biofuels in practice and their impact on the environment. Third part of thesis is focused on the legislation and the availability of biofuels in Czech Republic. At the last part, the of heterogenous catalyst in production of biofuels is discussed.
