Analysis of the buses intended for the long-distance transport on the Central European market

Abstract:

Smyslem zpracování práce na téma autobusů pro dálkovou dopravu na středoevropském trhu je docílit a rozšířit poznání v oblasti mechanismů trhu s vozidly hromadné přepravy cestujících a pochopit tak anomálie a zvláštnosti, jimiž se nabídka a poptávka po vozidlech diferencuje od trhů s užitkovými vozidly a autobusy ostatních světadílů a dalších částí Evropy. V první polovině práce je zmíněna historie hromadné osobní dopravy v Evropě, potažmo České republiky, následně jsou vysvětleny teoretické pojmy z autobusové dopravy a technická řešení a provedení konstrukce autobusů. Ve druhé polovině - aplikační části práce je konkrétně popsán český trh s autobusy v roce 2015 a jsou porovnána nejúspěšnější vozidla v segmentu dálkových autobusů.. Statisticky jsou zde zpracovány objemy prodejů nejúspěšnějších typů autobusů pro dálkovou dopravu, s ohledem na vývoj dodávek mezi lety 2010 - 2015. Velký důraz byl v této práci kladen na analýzu technických prvků, které u moderních autobusů 21. století zabezpečují ekologický, hospodárný, bezpečný a komfortní provoz. Současně byly technické aspekty zařazeny do časové souslednosti, podle toho kdy byly objeveny, či začala jejich sériová produkce. Popsány byly i vlivy na hodnoty, které výrazně promlouvají do dopravy, potažmo obchodu s užitkovými vozidly (a autobusy) po roce 2000 – jsou jimi trvale udržitelný rozvoj, celkové náklady na vlastnictví a ekonomicko-sociální integrita. V závěru jsou shrnuty nejdůležitější body práce a nástin možných scénářů budoucího vývoje dané problematiky. V několika větách jsou charakterizovány zásadní body, na něž by se v současnosti i budoucnu měl úspěšný producent a prodejce autobusů a autokarů zaměřit.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to understand, explain and upgrade mechanisms and relations on the market of new commercial vehicles, especially buses and touring coaches in Central Europe. This thesis is focused on mechanisms, that differs Czech bus and coach market from any other one, which is determined by historical progression of economical and political conditions in public road transportation of the Czech republic. The first point is brief narration of main milestones in public road transportation from the industrial revolution to the end of the Eastern Bloc era (1989). The next part is a basic summary of technical solutions from very early days of "omnibuses" period to state-of-the-art features of modern touring coaches. Then follows the statistical analysis of sales performance in current buses and coaches sector. The most successful samples are explored in sales levels between 2010 and 2015. The focus of this analysis is to provide answers for specific questions about the market success of mentioned products - environmental, economical, security and comfort aspects. These aspects were also placed to its date of discovery or period of inclusion to standard equipment. Among others, there also have been described values that strongly affect modern transportation or more precisely, a commercial vehicles market – meaning a sustainable development, the total cost of ownership (TCO), economic and social integrity. In the final part there are some scenarios of possibilities in the near future in a bus and coach segment market, depending on discovered values, tempers and explored outputs.
