Abstract:

Český svaz válečníků (ČSV) byl v období Protektorátu Čechy a Morava organizací kolaborující s okupační mocí. Zakladatel ČSV generál Otto Bláha se snažil dosáhnout rozpuštění dosud existujících vojenských spolků s cílem vytvořit jednotnou organizaci válečných veteránů. Jedním z pilířů ČSV byl Český svaz pro spolupráci s Němci, v němž byl Bláha pověřen intervenční činností u německých úřadů. Druhým pilířem vznikajícího ČSV byl Svaz vojáků z fronty. Stanovy ČSV byly schváleny v roce 1941 a ústředním vedoucím zvolen Bláha. Základní organizací bylo tzv. Kamarádství. ČSV měl přibližně 8 000 členů, aktivních však byla pouhá třetina. ČSV udržoval čilou korespondenci s orgány protektorátní i okupační správy a podával řadu návrhů týkajících se zapojení ČSV do veřejného i politického života. Požadoval např. rozhodující slovo při mimoškolní výchově mládeže či navrhoval bojové nasazení českých dobrovolnických jednotek po boku německé armády. V létě 1943 Bláha rezignoval na funkci ústředního vedoucího ČSV a ve funkci ho nahradil generál Rychtrmoc. Ten proslul svým memorandem z dubna 1944, ve kterém navrhoval bojové nasazení 600 000 českých mužů. Žádný z návrhů ČSV však nakonec nebyl realizován. Po skončení 2. světové války byl spolek označen za fašistický a rozpuštěn. Oba jeho vedoucí byli Národním soudem dne 21. ledna 1946 odsouzeni k trestu smrti a popraveni.

Abstract:

In the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, the Czech Union of Warriors (CUW) was an organisation collaborating with the occupational power. The founder of the CUW general Otto Bláha tried to achieve the dissolution of military associations existing till then, attempting to form a unified organisation of war veterans. One of the pillars of the CUW was the Czech Union for Collaboration with Germans, in which Bláha was in charge of intervention activities with German authorities. The second pillar of the rising CUW was the Union of Front Soldiers. The Articles of the CUW were approved of in 1941 and Bláha was appointed its head. So-called "Friendship" was the fundamental organisation. The CUW had approximately 8000 members but only a third of them were active. The CUW was often in contact with the bodies of both the protectorate and occupational administrations and filed a number of proposals for the integration of CUW into the public and political lives. For example, it demanded governing power over after-school education of the youth and proposed deployment of Czech volunteer units alongside the German army. In the summer of 1943, Bláha resigned from the office of the head of the CUW and was succeeded by general Rychtrmoc. He was famous for his memorandum of 1944 in which he proposed a deployment of 600 000 Czech men. None of the proposals of CUW were realised in the end. After the Second World War ended, the association was designated as fascist and dissolved. On 21st January 1946, both its heads were sentenced to death by the National Court and executed.
