Semantic and enunciatif analysis of corpus of Czech ice-hockey players and French rugby players interviews

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the question of team spirit in team sports like Czech ice hockey and French rugby. The aim of this thesis is to claim whether the “team spirit” is maintained or not in defined team sports at the beginning of 21st century. The analysis itself deals with French and Czech clitics, possessive and tonic pronouns in particular concerning players’ statements only in 1st pers. in sg. and pl. (thus “I” and “we”). The corpus analysis and exemplification of concrete morpho-semantic phenomena in players’ interviews should clarify whether they consider their team as a coherent group or as individuals playing side by side.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl zmapovat, zda základní myšlenka kolektivních sportů, tedy „týmovost“, zůstává v českém hokeji a ve francouzském ragby zachována i na počátku 21. století. Na základě vybraných morfosémantických jevů (klitiky, přivlastňovací zájmena a osobní zájmena přízvučná) byly analyzovány a exemplifikovány pouze výpovědi týkající se 1. os. sg. a 1. os. pl. (tedy formulace typu „já“ a „my“). Analýza těchto jevů v daném korpusu pomůže upřesnit, zda hráči definovaných kolektivních sportů vnímají své družstvo jako ucelený kolektiv či jako jednotlivé individuality hrající vedle sebe.
