Bill of Exchange as a collateral instrument

Abstract:

Téma „Směnka jako zajišťovací instrument" jsem si vybrala, protože jsem měla možnost se s ní v rámci mé činnosti v bance okrajově setkat a chtěla jsem se o ni více dozvědět. Proto jsem se začala o toto téma zajímat a tímto bych ráda chtěla předat některé postřehy a informace. Směnka by měla být známa již každému. V minulosti se směnka užívala jenom zřídka. Dnes již můžeme mluvit o rozmachu jejího použití, neboť se vyskytuje poměrně všude, nejen při podnikatelské činnosti. Každý by si měl uvědomit závažnosti při nesprávném vyplnění směnky. Cílem této práce je tedy představení směnky a obeznámení s důležitými skutečnostmi, které ze směnky jako zajišťovacího instrumentu vyplývají. Ve své práci využívám komparační metody a snažím se o porovnání jednotlivých zajišťovacích instrumentů vůči směnce jako zajišťovacímu instrumentu.

Abstract:

I chose the topic "Bill Of Exchange as a Collateral Instrument" because I had just a minor knowledge of the topic when I began in the banking industry. When my interest on the topic grew early in my career, I began to learn more and now I would like to pass along some observations and information on what I have learned. Today, the term "bill of exchange" is familiar to most in the industry. After the early years, when the bill of exchange in our country was almost never used, we can say it began to appear not only in the business world. We have to have in mind that the incorrect use can have for the individuals serious consequences. Due to the fact that the wrong knowledge is the source of the difficulties it will be the goal of this work to summarize the basic facts about the bill of exchange as a collateral instrument and to highlight some traits which are associated with the bill of exchange and makes it specific mostly in the business relationships. In my work I use comparative methods where I am trying to compare individual collateral instruments with the bill of exchange as a collateral instrument.
