The study of printing inks lightfastness in interior and by using accelerated aging

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o světlostálosti ofsetových barev a barev pro digitální tisk. Je zde uveden popis použitých tiskových technik, tiskových barev a papírů. Zároveň jsou uvedeny i faktory ovlivňující světlostálost a způsoby hodnocení světlostálosti. Světlostálost testovaných barev byla hodnocena pomocí urychleného stárnutí v testovací komoře Q-Sun Xe-1-B a dále pomocí přirozeného stárnutí v interiéru, kde byly vzorky umístěny za oknem v místnosti orientované jihovýchodním směrem. Změna barev byla hodnocena pomocí barvové odchylky.

Abstract:

This work deals with the offset inks and digital print inks lightfastness. It describes the printing techniques, inks and papers. Also, it describes factors that influence the lightfastness and the ways of the lightfastness evaluation. The lightfastness of the tested printing inks was evaluated by the accelerated ageing (equipment Q-Sun Xe-1-B) and further more by natural indoor ageing. The specimen were situated behind the window in a room that was orientated southeast. The colour changes were evaluated by the colour differences.
