Design and implementation of a BitTorrent tracker with a system for sharing and management of torrent files

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá návrhem a implementací systému umožňujícího správu a sdílení torrent souborů a obsahujícího funkce BitTorrent trackeru. Nejprve se práce zaměřuje na peer-to-peer sítě a popis protokolu BitTorrent. Dále je provedeno stanovení cílů, analýza aplikace a popis implementace. Závěr se zabývá zhodnocením vytvořené aplikace.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with design and implementation of a system capable of sharing and managing torrent files and containing functions of BitTorrent tracker. The first part of the thesis focuses on peer-to-peer networks and description of BitTorrent protocol. Objective setting along with application analysis and description of implementation is done next. Conclusion evaluates the created application.
