Conscience

Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na svědomí jako na vnitřní regulační aparát, který ovlivňuje a usměrňuje naše rozhodování na základě mravních kriterií. Jsou představeny klíčové koncepty svědomí u vybraných myslitelů ? Sókrata, Aurelia Augustina, Tomáše Akvinského, Davida Huma, Immanuela Kanta a Sigmunda Freuda. Svědomí je zkoumáno i v souvislosti s jinými podobnými vnitřními mechanismy regulujícími naše rozhodování ve smyslu správného či nesprávného jednání ? jako je daimonion, iluminace, náboženské cítění, rozum a cit. Zvláštní důraz je pak položen na pojetí svědomí u Sigmunda Freuda. Popisuje, jak funguje svědomí, když reguluje egoistické chování a snahu uspokojovat primární pudy. Ukazuje, co se děje v psychice člověka, který se musí rozhodovat pod tlakem strachu z odmítavé reakce společnosti, z hrozby trestu nebo ztráty svobody. Práce popisuje vznik psychických poruch v důsledku výčitek svědomí. V práci je použita metoda srovnávání a dedukce.

Abstract:

This work focuses on the conscience as the internal regulatory apparatus that affects and directs our decisions based on moral criteria. There are introduced key concepts of conscience in selected thinkers ? Socrates, Aurelius Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, David Hume, Immanuel Kant and Sigmund Freud. Conscience is examined in connection with other similar mechanisms that regulate our internal decision-making in terms of correct or incorrect behavior ? such as daimonion, illumination, religious sentiment, reason and emotion. Particular emphasis is placed on the concept of conscience of Sigmund Freud. This paper describes how work the conscience, when regulating behavior and selfish desire pretending to satisfy the primal urge. It shows what happens in the human psyche, when a man must decide under pressure from fears of rejection from society, threats of punishment or loss of freedom. The work describes the emergence of mental disorders as a result of remorse. Methods of comparison and deduction are used in the paper.
