Mother Lasana, Mother Diesana and their ashram in Vlčí pole

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce podává přehled o Matce Lasaně a Diesaně, které žijí jako duchovní učitelky s několika oddanými v ášramu ve vesnici Vlčí pole. Dále se práce zabývá naukou Matek, zdrojem jejich charismatu, ášramem, souvislostmi s podobnou religiozitou ve světě a zařazením v rámci typologie nových náboženských hnutí. Matka Lasana a Matka Diesana jsou považovány svými uctívateli za avatáry – boží vtělení. Matka Lasana své požehnání předává již od svých osmi let. V současnosti je jí okolo 21 let. Je dcerou Matky Diesany, která veřejně vystoupila až několik let po prvním veřejném vystoupení své dcery. V centru nauky Matek Lasany a Diesany je boží světlo / boží láska v jednotě se kterou žijí. Podle jejich nauky toto boží světlo prochází skrze ně od Matky Nadduše směrem k účastníkům daršanu – společného setkání, které je v centru aktivit Matek. Matky mohou pomocí božího světla pomoci uzdravit tělesné i psychické nemoci, odstraňovat charakterové vady, plnit rozličná přání apod., a tím přibližovat jedince k ideálu existence, tedy k jednotě s nejvyšší transcendentální skutečností – Matkou Nadduší. Jejich nadání k těmto činům akceptované uctívateli jsou jejich charismatem. Duchovní praxe, kterou Matky Lasana a Diesana upřednostňují, má bhaktické prvky. Skládá se zejména z meditace, očisty charakteru, zpívání devocionálních písní, modlitby, opakování jména Matek Lasany, Diesany a Nadduše (džapa). Ášram slouží především pro ubytování částečných členů přicházejících příležitostně na víkendové daršany. Bydlí v něm také malá skupina členů trvale a tvoří tak tvrdé jádro skupiny. Přestože Matky Lasana a Diesana vědomě nenavazují v přímé linii na žádného svého učitele (jejich učitelem je Bůh – světlo), je z některých znaků zřejmé, že jsou inspirovány indickou religiozitou. S ohledem na vazbu člena ke skupině má skupina kolem Matek, podle typologie Starka a Bainbridge, charakter klientského kultu. Podle vztahu člena k vůdci, podle typologie F. Birda, lze označit skupinu jako hnutí oddaných.

Abstract:

This bachelor work gives a compendium about Mother Lasana and Mother Diesana. They live as spiritual leaders with a few devotees in their ashram in a village Vlčí pole. This work also deals with Mothers´ teaching, sources of their charisma, their ashram, similarities to other religious groups in the world and their classification with respect to the typology of new religious movements. Mother Lasana is considered as an avatar – the incarnation of God. She has been giving her blessings since she was eleven. Today she is about 21 years old. She is a daughter of Mother Diesana who started giving her blessings in public just a few years after the first public blessing of her daughter. In the centre of Mother Lasana and Diesana´s teaching is the divine light / divine love. They live in unity with that divine light. According to their teaching this divine light goes through them from Mother Supersoul to devotees during darshan – that is a public meeting with devotees where blessing is given. Darshan is the central activity of both Mothers. With the force of the divine light the Mothers can help to heal mental and bodily diseases. Also by means of the divine light they can help to remove character faults, fulfil wishes etc. and this way they can help to bring an individual to the ideal state of being, i.e. to the unity with Mother Supersoul. Mothers´ abilities for these acts as accepted by their devotees are their charisma. The spiritual practice that Mother Lasana and Diesana prefer has bhaktic elements. Specifically it consists of meditation, purification of the character, chanting devotional songs, prayers, repetition of the name of Mother Lasana, Diesana and Supersoul. Ashram serves for the accommodation of part time members that visit weekend darshans only occasionally. Also there lives a small group of full time members permanently and these create the hard core of this group. Mother Lasana and Diesana don’t relate consciously to any spiritual teacher (their teacher is God – light). However, according to certain signs it is obvious that they are inspired by Indian religiosity. Concerning a member’s linkage to the group according to the Stark & Bainbridge´s typology the group around Mother Lasana and Diesana has a characteristic of the client cult. And when considering a member’s relation to the leader according to the F. Byrd´s typology the group has a characteristic of movements of devotees.
