Reliability of moment arm measurement of the achilles tendon by optoelectronic stereophotogrammetry in runners

Abstract:

Měření ramena momentu síly k Achillově šlaše bylo provedeno ve dvou různých termínech pomocí optoelektronické stereofotogrammetrie. Měření se účastnilo 10 běžců, ať už sprinterů nebo vytrvalců, kteří došli ve dvou různých termínech do biomechanické laboratoře v Centru diagnostiky lidského pohybu Ostravské Univerzity. Cílem je, aby se hodnoty naměřené v prvním a ve druhém termínu co nejvíce shodovaly a tím se potvrdila naše správnost měření a dosáhli jsme co nejpřesnějších výsledků pomocí této metody. Z výsledků nám vyšla velká spolehlivost u pravé nohy a střední u levé končetiny. U běžců na kratší tratě bylo dosaženo lepší spolehlivosti měření než u běžců na tratě dlouhé.

Abstract:

Measure the arm of the moment of force to the Achilles tendon in two different terms. By using optoelectronic stereophotogrammetry. I performed 10 runners, either sprinters or endurance runners, took part in the measurement. The aim is to ensure that the values measured at the first and second term are as close as possible to confirm our measurement accuracy and achieve the most accurate results using this method. The reliability results were hight for the right foot and middle for the left leg. Short-distance runners have achieved better measurement reliability than long-distance runners.
