Bankruptcy and insolvency of a company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá úpadkem jak z ekonomického tak z právního hlediska. V práci je popsán průběh insolvenčního řízení, průběh konkursního řízení. Práce obsahuje informace o finančních indikátorech úpadku a je zde zpracována statistika o insolvenčních řízeních v oblasti maloobchodního prodeje v ČR. V praktické části jsou identifikovány jevy vedoucí k úpadku konkrétní obchodní společnosti a do hloubky rozebrán průběh konkursu od jeho počátku až do jeho konce. V závěru praktické části práce jsou navrženy postupy k předejití úpadku společnosti.

Abstract:

This Master´s Thesis deals with the bankruptcy both economically and legally. The process of insolvency and bankruptcy procedures is described in this work. The paper includes information about financial indicators of bankruptcy and there are processed also statistics on insolvency in retail in Czech Republic. In the practical part there is identified phenomena leading to the decline of a specific company and bankruptcy process is analyzed in depth from its beginning to its end. In the conclusion of the practical part there are proposed procedures to prevent the company's bankruptcy.
