Abstract:

práce se zabývá vylepšením stagingu u kolorektálního karcinomu. Jde o novou metodiku lymfatického mapování vyvinutou ke zlepšení sběru a detekce lymfatických metastáz u kolorektálního karcinomu. Jedná se o prospektivní studii v níž je zařazeno 107 pacientů rozdělených na dvě části: 30 a 77 pacientů. Výsledky jsou srovnány se skupinou 73 pacientů bez lymfatického mapování. Byly detekovány statisticky významné rozdíly v lymfatickém stagingu jakve srovnání se souborem před zavedením nové techniky, tak i mezi oběma soubory ve studii. Technika lymfatického mapování signifikantně zlepšila staging pacientů s kolorektálním karcinomem ošetřených na chirurgickém odddělení nemocnice Atlas Zlín.

Abstract:

The aim of the study was to improve lymphatic staging by colorectal cancer patients. Original concept of the lymphatic mapping was introduced at Department of surgery Atlas Hospital Zlín. Lymphatic nodes were divided in three levels and were examined. Between 2002 and 2003 lymphatic mapping was done in 30 patients. In second period between 2004 and 2008, 77 patients were included. Lymphatic mapping was improved and immunohistochemistry examination for cytokeratin was conducted. Both files were compared with patients operated before lymphatic mapping. It was introduced in the study-protocol. Statistical analysis was made. There were observed significant differences among all files. Technique of lymphatic mapping significantly improved staging of the colorectal carcinoma.
