Preoperative and postoperative care for patients with total hip replacement

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá předoperační a pooperační péčí o pacienta s totální endoprotézou kyčelního kloubu. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie kyčelního kloubu, dále pak nejčastější onemocnění kyčelního kloubu, které vedou k operaci. S tím jsou zmíněny i kontraindikace k operaci. Nadále je zde popsané, jaké se používají druhy endoprotéz a jaké mohou být komplikace při operaci. Poměrně velká část je věnována předoperační a pooperační péči před a po totální endoprotéze kyčelního kloubu. Poslední kapitola je zaměřená na rehabilitaci. Praktická část byla prováděna v soukromé nemocnici. V této části jsou vypracované tři ošetřovatelské procesy a některé statistické údaje. Jako výstup pro praxi slouží vytvořená ošetřovatelská mapa péče.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is aimed to preoperative and postoperative care of patients with total hip replacement. It is divided into theoretical and research part. Theoretical part describes the anatomy of the hip joint and the most common diseases of the hip joints that leads to surgery. Therefore I also mentioned contraindications that leads to surgery. This continues with the description of the own operation and what kind of replacements are used and also what complications during surgery can occur. Relatively large part deals with preoperative and postoperative care, before and after total hip arthroplasty. The last chapter is focused on rehabilitation, which is important for better self-sufficiency of the patients. The research part was done in St. Zdislavy Mostiště. There is a case report from research with patient with infected total hip arthroplasty and description of the process of hospitalization. Here are some statistics developed limb. At the end of the thesis is educative material, which is aimed on exercise for patients who are already at home after surgery.
