Bakalářská práce se zabývá rolí USA v arabsko-izraelském konfliktu v říjnu 1973. Cílem je analýza zapojení USA do tohoto konfliktu na straně Izraele a dopad této angažovanosti na vztahy se SSSR (na pozadí probíhajícího procesu politiky uvolnování napětí) a na postavení obou velmocí v oblasti Blízkého východu. The bachelor thesis describes the role of The United States of America in the october 1973 arab-israeli conflict and its influence on relations between the superpowers at the time of détente.
