How does father experience a childbirth ? the needs of partner at the childbirth

Abstract:

Závěrečná bakalářská práce má název ?Jak otec proţívá porod ? potřeby partnera u porodu?. Jedná se o práci teoreticko-výzkumnou a je rozdělena na dvě části. V teoretické části se nejprve zabývám lidskými potřebami, muţskou identitou a jaké jsou pocity a potřeby muţů u porodu. V druhé části práce popisuji metodiku výzkumu a analýzu zjištěných výsledků. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, jaké mají partneři u porodu potřeby. Dále mě zajímalo, zda partneři doprovází své partnerky z vlastního přesvědčení, jejich nejčastější zdroje informací o porodu a zda porod ovlivní budoucí sexuální ţivot páru. V neposlední řadě jsem v dotazníkovém šetření zjišťovala, zda-li se porodní asistentky věnovaly i partnerovi a poskytly mu dostatek informací o porodu a metodách, jak má své partnerce pomoci zlepšit průběh porodu.

Abstract:

The final thesis has a title ,,How does father experience a childbirth ? the needs of partner at the childbirth. ? It is a theoretical research work and it is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part of the work I describe human needs, manhood and feelings and needs of men at the childbirth. In the second part of the work I describe methodology of research and analysis of detected results. The main was to find out what needs partners have at the childbirth. I was also wondering whether partners accompany their wives or girlfriends voluntarily, then their most frequent resources of information about the childbirth and whether the childbirth will affect future sexual life of couples. Not least, in a survey I was finding if midwives devoted their time to the partners of the women and if they gave them enough information about the childbirth and methods how to help their partner to improve a process of the childbirth.
