Práca je zameraná na oceňovanie pozemkov v Slovenskej republike. Opísaná je stručne genéza oceňovania od prelomu 19. a 20. storočia až do súčasnosti. Je v nej zadefinovaná cena a hodnota pozemku a ich vzťah. Vymenované sú rôzne druhy hodnôt a cien pozemkov, ako aj spôsoby ich stanovovania a aj účel, kvôli ktorému je potreba oceňovania i ohodnocovania pozemkov.
