Efficiency enhancement of shipments transportation conducted by DHL Express with regard to the seasonality
Abstract:
Práce pojednává o přepravě zásilek firmou DHL Express. Charakterizuje portfolio nabídky služeb a zkoumá sezónní trendy poptávky. Analyzuje vliv sezónnosti na efektivitu přepravy zásilek. Na základě provedené analýzy autor došel k závěru, že s ohledem na sezónnost lze efektivitu přepravy zvýšit a navrhuje několik opatření, která by k tomu měla vést.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the transportation of shipments conducted by the DHL Express Company. It describes the service portfolio and examines seasonal trends of demand. It also analyses the influence of seasonality on shipments transportation efficiency.
