Expressive Ceramics as Part of Art Education with Artphiletics Approach

Abstract:

The main topic of the diploma thesis is expressive ceramics as a part of artphiletics education at schools. The thesis was written to prepare some expressive ceramics art lessons as a source of inspiration for experienced as well as inexperienced teachers who might like to deal with this type of art. Lessons of expressive ceramics will enable students to work with a plastic material as a part of their art education at schools. The first part of the thesis offers the theoretical part of artphiletics and expressive art principles in art education, their key definitions and a changing role of a teacher and a student in expressive art lessons. The second part of the work brings two consecutive practical lessons which are the key part of the thesis. It also expresses some possible risks of work with plastic art and offers some material resources. The final part of the thesis summarises the practical part.

Abstract:

Ústrednou témou diplomovej práce je expresívna keramika ako súčasť artefiletickej estetickej výchovy na školách. Zámerom práce bolo vytvoriť lekcie plastickej expresívnej tvorby ako zdroj inšpirácie pre skúsených, ale aj menej skúsených učiteľov, ktorí sa danej oblasti budú hlbšie venovať. Realizácia lekcií expresívnej keramiky umožní žiakom vyskúšať si prácu s plastickým materiálom v rámci estetickej výchovy na školách. Prvá časť práce sa zaoberá teoretickou časťou artefiletických a expresívnych prístupov vo vyučovaní estetickej výchovy, vysvetľuje základné pojmy a zmeny úloh žiaka a učiteľa v rámci expresívnej techniky. Druhá časť diplomovej práce, zameraná na praktickú realizáciu vytvorených dvoch na seba nadväzujúcich lekcií s ich odporúčaným pokračovaním, sa pokladá za kľúčovú časť. Pojednáva tiež o možných rizikách vyskytujúcich sa pri plastickej tvorbe, ako aj potrebnom materiále. V závere diplomovej práce je zhrnuté celkové zhodnotenie realizovanej praktickej časti.
