The submitted master’s thesis analyzes the policy conflict surrounding the blocking of the acquisition of the American company US Steel by the Japanese firm Nippon Steel. The study is conducted within the theoretical framework of the Advocacy Coalition Framework and em-ploys methods of Social Network Analysis.
