A woman´s education about spontaneous delivery by breech presentation

Abstract:

Cíl: Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce byla realizace edukace žen o spontánním porodu plodu v poloze koncem pánevním v průběhu těhotenství. Edukace obsahovala pět na sebe navazujících fází, posouzení, diagnostika, plánování, realizace a vyhodnocení edukace. Dílčím cílem edukačního procesu bylo vyhotovení edukačního letáčku obsahující nejdůležitější informace týkající se této problematiky. Edukační letáček klientky obdržely na začátku edukace a sloužil jim jako zdroj informací po celou dobu edukace i po ní. Metodika: Edukace byla realizována v prostorách gynekologické ambulance v nemocničním zařízení, kde klientky pravidelně navštěvovaly prenatální poradnu. Nemocniční zařízení poskytlo souhlas se sběrem dat a provedením edukace u vybraných klientek. Posouzení klientek proběhlo na základě vstupního znalostního testu, rozhovoru a zdravotnické dokumentace. Vyhodnocení edukace bylo realizováno tři měsíce po skončení edukace pomocí výstupního znalostního testu, který byl klientkám po předchozí domluvě doručen. Edukace se zúčastnily dvě klientky, které splňovaly kritéria potřebná k provedení edukace a zároveň poskytly souhlas s edukací. Výsledky: Na základě posouzení klientek bylo zjištěno, s jakými znalostmi klientky přišly a jaké informace mají o dané problematice. Což vedlo ke stanovení edukačních diagnóz a sestavení edukačního plánu. Závěr: Edukace je neodmyslitelnou součástí práce každého zdravotnického pracovníka. Porodní asistentka může tak edukací ovlivnit nejednu ženu v průběhu těhotenství, porodu, či bezprostředně po něm. Na základě vyhodnocení edukace bylo zjištěno, že edukace žen o spontánním porodu plodu v poloze koncem pánevním je velmi důležitá k získání nových informací.

Abstract:

Objective: The main objective of this bachelor's thesis was an implementation of an education of women in spontaneous birth in a breech position during the pregnancy. The education contained five following phases, appraisal, diagnostics, planning, realization and evaluation of the education. A sub-objective was to make out an educational flyer containing the most important information regarding this issue. Clients received the educational flyer at the beginning of the education and served them as a source of information during the entire period of education and after. Methodology: The education was implemented at the premises of a gynaecological clinic within the hospital facilities, where the clients regularly attended prenatal counselling. The hospital facility consented with the collection of data and the implementation of the education for chosen clients. The appraisal was carried out based on an entry knowledge test, interview and medical records. Evaluation of the education was carried out three months after the end of the education and was based on an exit knowledge test, that was delivered to the clients after a previous agreement. Two clients, who met the necessary criteria for the implementation of the education and provided a consent for it. Results: It was found, based on the appraisal of clients, what was the knowledge of the clients coming in and what information they have about the given issue. That led to determining an educational diagnosis and drawing up an educational plan. Conclusion: Education is an essential piece of every health-care professionals' job. A midwife can influence various women during pregnancy, birth or immediately after. Based on the appraisal of the education it was found that education of women in spontaneous birth in a breech position is very important to obtain new information.
