Criminality and Delinquency of Children and Youth in the 19th Century and Attempts to Solve it

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá dětskou kriminalitou a způsoby jejího řešení v 19. století. Přibližuje historii tohoto tématu, jak se vyvíjel pohled na trestní odpovědnost dětí a mládeže napříč stoletími. Popisuje trestné činy páchané mladými delikventy a zároveň líčí řešení těchto přečinů. Nedílnou součástí je i historie zakládání nápravných zařízení a popis fungování polepšoven.

Abstract:

The thesis is focoused on the child crime and the ways of its solution of the century. The history of this topic, how it evolved perspective on the criminal responsibility of children and youth across the centuries. Describes the offences committed by young offenders,and at the same time depicts the solution of children´s crimes. An integral part of the history of the establishment and functioning of the correctional facility a description of reform school.
