Object-relation Mapping and its Usage on the .NET Platform
Abstract:
The aim of this diploma thesis is to explain issues of object-relational mapping for .NET platform to reader. The theoretical part describes the relational and object-oriented modeling approach, followed by a description of ORM and tools. Application, which compares performance of various ORM tools with ADO.NET and NoSQL database (RavenDB), belongs to the implementation part of this thesis.

Cieľom tejto diplomovej práce je oboznámiť čitateľa s problematikou objektovo-relačného mapovania na platforme .NET. Teoretická časť práce vysvetľuje relačný a objektový prístup k modelovaniu, nasleduje popis ORM a jednotlivých nástrojov. Do implementačnej časti práce patrí aplikácia porovnávajúca z hľadiska výkonu jednotlivé ORM nástroje s dopytovaním pomocou ADO.NET a s NoSQL databázou (RavenDB) …more
