Comparative study of visual abilities in birds (Aves)
Abstract:
Cílem práce je rešeršní formou srovnat strukturu a způsob fungování oka u různých skupin ptáků (Aves) s důrazem na druhy používané v experimentech testujících reakce ptačích predátorů vůči výstražně zbarvené kořisti a tedy s důrazem na jejich barevné vnímání. Metodikou je práce s primárními prameny, jejich utřídění a diskuse.
Abstract:
The aim of this study is to compare structure and functions of the Eye among birds (Aves) with special attention to the species used in experiments concerned on reactions of avian predators toward warning coloured prey. As material will be used original studies that will be sort, compared and widely discussed. How does spectral sensitivity of avian cones vary among species?
