Cybersecurity and the human factor

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je se věnuje zkoumání role lidského faktoru v kybernetické bezpečnosti v regulované organizaci a je rozdělena na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy a principy, je zdůrazněn význam lidského faktoru, jsou identifikována známá rizika vyplývající z chování uživatelů a jsou popsány procesy kybernetické bezpečnosti včetně jejich integrace do organizace. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou dotazníkového šetření a předložení možných doporučení pro zlepšení stavu povědomí zaměstnanců regulované organizace o kybernetické bezpečnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on examining the role of the human factor in cybersecurity within a regulated organization and is divided into theoretical and research sections. The theoretical part defines basic concepts and principles of cybersecurity, emphasizes the importance of the human factor, identifies known risks stemming from user behavior, and describes cybersecurity processes, including their integration into the organization. The practical part deals with the analysis of a questionnaire survey and the presentation of possible recommendations for improving the awareness of employees in the regulated organization about cybersecurity.
