Abstract:

Il legamento crociato anteriore (LCA) ? una delle strutture fondamentali del ginocchio ed ? responsabile di fornire stabilit? e controllo durante il movimento. Tuttavia, ? anche uno dei legamenti pi? comunemente lesionati nel contesto di traumi sportivi e incidenti legati all'attivit? fisica. Le lesioni del LCA possono portare a gravi limitazioni funzionali e a una riduzione della qualit? della vita per gli individui colpiti. L'intervento ricostruttivo rimane l'approccio standard per gli atleti che mirano a tornare alla propria attivit? sportiva.

Abstract:

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the fundamental structures of the knee and is responsible for providing stability and control during movement. However, it is also one of the most injured ligaments in the context of sports injuries and exercise-related accidents. ACL tears can lead to severe functional limitations and reduced quality of life for affected individuals. Reconstructive surgery remains the standard approach for athletes aiming to return to their sport.
