Abstract:

Diplomová práce se pokouší krátce shrnout původ a kořeny otroctví ve světě a staví jej do kontrastu s otrockým systémem, který se vyvinul v USA. Základní cíl práce je odhalit okolnosti, událost i nebo teorie, které jednak přispěly k vytvoření rasistického konceptu americké formy otroctví, ale také tím zároveň napomáhaly umlčet svědomí lidí podporující tento zkorumpovaný systém . V závěru práce nastiňuje důsledky, které tento rasistický koncept otroctví zanechal na americké společnosti.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis attempts to briefly summarize the origin of the institution of slavery in the world and puts it in contrast with slavery system, which developed in the USA. The primary aim of the research is to reveal the circumstances, events or theories, which helped to entrench the racial concept of American slavery and thus silenced the conscience of those who supported this corrupted institution. In the conclusion the diploma thesis uncovers the consequences caused by the racial concept of American slavery.
