The relation between the load put on horses during usage and horses's natural needs

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá vztahem zátěže při využívání koní v souvislosti s jejich přiroze-nými potřebami. Jsou zde popsány základní znalosti z etologie, anatomie a fyziologie těchto zvířat, které nám umožňují pochopit, jak koňské tělo i psychika fungují. Dále jsou uvedeny nejčastější zdravotní problémy trávicí, pohybové a dýchací soustavy s jejich příčinami. Velmi často jsou původcem onemocnění chyby v tréninku nebo technologii chovu. Spojitost s těmito chybami je vysvětlena u každé nemoci. Nejlepším a nejlevněj-ším řeším těchto zdravotních komplikacích je prevence. Cílem této práce je poukázat na nutnost teoretických znalostí koní, které by měli všichni majitelé i chovatelé mít.

Abstract:

This bacherol thesis deals with the relationship between mental and physical strain and natural needs of horses. There is described basic knowledge of etology, anathomy and physiology of these animals, which allows us to understand how the horse‘s body and mind works. The following part is about the most common diseases of respiratory, digestive and locomotive systems with their causes. Very often the mistakes in training or grooming are the cause of these diseases. The connection between these mistakes is explained with each disease. Prevention is the best and cheapest solution to these health complications. A purpose of this thesis is to point out the necessary of theoretical know-ledge of horses, which all owners, riders and groom should have.
