Teaching Beginning Writing from the Perspective of Primary School Teachers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Výuka prvopočátečního psaní z pohledu učitelů primárního vzdělávání se zabývá výukou psaní v prvním a druhém ročníku základního vzdělávání. Teoretická část poskytuje základní přehled o variantách školního písma používaných v českých školách. Její součástí je komparace konkrétních prvků jednotažného psacího písma a písma Comenia Script. Praktická část seznamuje čtenáře s přípravou i průběhem výzkumu využitelnosti psacích vzorů na základních školách, ale přináší také analýzu názorů prvostupňových učitelů základních škol na varianty písma. Důraz je kladen zejména na využívání těchto typů písma v elementárních ročnících. Součástí praktické části je též závěrečné vyhodnocení strukturovaných rozhovorů.

Abstract:

My diploma thesis Teaching beginning writing from the perspective of primary school teachers deals with the teaching of writing in the first and the second year of primary education. The theoretical part of my thesis offers the overview of the variants of school scripts used in Czech schools and also contains the comparation of specific elements of the Classical Script and the Comenia Script. The practical part introduces the preparation and the conduct of the main research considering the applicability of writing patterns in primary schools. It also provides an analysis of the first-grade-teachers' opinions on examined scripts, focused on the usage of the scripts in primary education. The integral part of the practical part is the evaluation of the structured interviews.
