Financing options of selected municipality

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce "Možnosti financování vybrané obce" je na základě analýzy finančního hospodaření města Žamberk zhodnotit možnosti financování a doporučit optimalizaci financování vzhledem k výdajových potřebám obce. V prvních dvou kapitolách práce je obec vydefinována jakožto veřejnoprávní subjekt a také jako subjekt provozující podnikatelskou činnost. Následuje charakteristika finančního hospodaření obce, identifikace možných zdrojů financování výdajových potřeb a kapitola pojednávající o finanční analýze. Po představení města Žamberk je dále provedena finanční analýza hospodaření města a následně předložena výsledná zjištění a doporučení v oblasti možností financování.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis "Financing options of selected municipality" is to evaluate the financing possibilities on the basis of the financial analysis of the city of Žamberk and to recommend the optimization of the financing in relation to the expenditures of the municipality. In the first two chapters of the thesis, the municipality is defined as a public body and also as a business entity. This is followed by the characteristics of the financial management of the municipality, the indentification of possible sources of financing of expenditures and the chapter dealing with the financial analysis. After the introduction of the city of Žamberk, a financial analysis of the city's economy was carried out, and the resulting findings and recommendation on financing options were presented.
