Sustainable energy in the Czech Republic with a focus on the South Moravian region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou energetiky a energetických zdrojů v Jihomoravském kraji. V rámci díla je zhodnocen stav energetiky v EU, ČR a ve jmenovaném kraji. Analyzovány jsou energetické zdroje a energetické situace zvoleného regionu. Na základě této analýzy jsou předloženy vlastní návrhy a doporučení pro zajištění energetických potřeb. Alternativou pro rozvoj energetiky je zvýšení počtu zdrojů s kombinovanou výrobou elektrické energie a tepla. Navrhovanou cestou je přebudování současných výtopen na kombinovanou, a tím efektivnější výrobu energie. K dalším návrhům patří zvýšení kapacit fotovoltaických elektráren a zařízení pro energetické využití odpadů, rozvoj produkce biometanu a zařízení na zplyňování biomasy, v optimalizovaném mixu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with energy and energy resources in the South Moravian Region. The thesis evaluates the state of the energy sector in the EU, in the Czech Republic and the South Moravian Region. Energy resources and energy situation of the selected region are analysed. On the basis of this analysis, own proposals and recommendations for the provision of energy needs are presented. An alternative for the development of the energy sector is to increase the number of combined heat and power sources. The proposed way is to replace the current heating plants to combined, and thus more efficient energy production. Other proposals include increasing the capacity of photovoltaic power plants and waste-to-energy plants, developing biomethane production and biomass gasification plants, in an optimised mix.
