Abstract:

Naše bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem dveří ve výtvarné tvorbě 20. století až po současnost. V teoretické části vysvětlujeme klíčová hesla a uvádíme autory a jejich díla, jež nás při tvorbě instalace ovlivnili. Cílem praktické části byla tvorba prostorové instalace určené pro veřejný prostor. Tato instalace je symbolickým obrazem naší osobní výpovědi o cestách, volbách a dveřích, kterými nám bylo dáno projít během studia. Surová, nezkrášlená instalace byla tvořena kovovou konstrukcí z pěti svařených zárubní, ve kterých je zasazeno pět kovových dveří. Číslo pět zde zastupuje člověka, který imaginárně stojí uprostřed uměle vytvořeného prostoru, který nesimuluje nic konkrétního, nýbrž představuje pomyslný osobní prostor, v němž se vyskytují různé možnosti, a volba mezi nimi je jen na člověku. Důležitým aspektem práce je interaktivita. Instalace by měla u diváka probudit zvědavost a dovést ho ke zkoumání sebe sama prostřednictvím pohybu a akce kolem, skrz a vně instalace.

Abstract:

The subject of our bachelor thesis is the door in the visual arts in the 20th century and in the contemporary art. In the theoretical part we define the key terms, the artists and their works which influenced us when preparing the installation. Finally we compare these works with our work. The purpose of the practical part was to create a space installation for public space. This installation is a symbolic image of our personal reflections on journeys, choices and doors we went through during our studies. The raw, undecorated installation of the metal construction consists of five welded door frames with five metal doors. The number five represents the man imaginarily standing in the artificially created space which does not simulate any concrete thing just an imaginary personal space with many opportunities. And it is up to the man which of them will be chosen. The important aspect of the work is interactivity. The installation should pique the viewer's curiosity and make everyone to explore oneself by the means of movement, action around, through and outside the installation.
