Bakalářská práce se zabývá dlouholetým konfliktem mezi centrální vládou Súdánu a jižní oblastí země, která se po více než půl století občanských válek stala v roce 2011 nezávislou republikou Jižní Súdán. Stalo se tak díky referendu, které bylo součástí plnění Komplexní mírové dohody z roku 2005. The bachelor thesis focuses on the long-lasting conflict between sudanese central government and southern part of the country. South sudan became independent republic in 2011 after more than fifty years of civil wars due to referendum as a part of Comprehensive Peace Agreement from 2005.
